This is the easiest baked brie recipe ever! It’s only 3 ingredients. It is perfect for throwing together for last minute company.
I’m a bit fan of brie. It’s a form of cheese after all! When I’m sitting at home watching TV, I eat it on crackers with pepper jelly or sliced on sandwiches.
When serving it at a party or for a games night, I like to do something to elevate it. This baked brie recipe is simple, yet it is an elevated version of plain brie and crackers.
Easiest Baked Brie Recipe:
- 1 large brie wheel
- 1/2 cup cherry pie filling
- 1 sheet puff pastry
Start by preheating the oven to 350°.
Lightly dust a clean, dry surface with a bit of flour. Place the puff pastry dough down on the floured surface. To prevent sticking, you can also lightly dust the rolling pin with a bit of flour. Roll out the puff pastry until flat and place it directly on a baking tray.
Place the brie wheel in the middle of the puff pastry and spoon the cherry pie filling on top.
Fold the puff pastry over the top of the brie like a present. You can use a pattern or just fold all four sides in. I pinched each corner individually and pulled them in, then made another corner in between each corner for a total of 8 folds.
Press the puff pastry together in the center of the brie.
Allow it to bake for 12-18 minutes until the puff pastry is golden brown.
After taking it out of the oven, let it cool for 3-5 minutes as you assemble your platter before cutting into the baked brie with a sharp knife.
The nice thing about this recipe is that if you keep some puff pastry in the freezer and a can of cherry pie filling in the pantry, then all you need to do is pick up a wheel of brie and you can whip this right up.
When you cut into this, it has that ooey-gooey yumminess that will have your guests wanting to dive right in. You can serve this with crostinis, crackers or bread. If you don’t have any of those on hand, a spoon will do!
